Game 7 in Edmonton Monday Night
The Edmonton Oilers forced a Game 7 in the Stanley Cup Finals with a 3-1 victory over the Florida Panthers in Game 6 Saturday night in Sunrise, Florida.
Leon Draisaitl scored the game-winning goal for the Oilers in the third period, and Connor McDavid added an empty-netter to seal the win.
"We knew we had to come out and play our best game tonight," said McDavid. "We did that, and we're going to need to do it again on Monday."
The Panthers will be looking to win their first Stanley Cup in franchise history on Monday night, while the Oilers will be looking to win their fifth.
